FOUR KEY PRIORITIES IN A NEW ACTION PLAN FOR THE COUNTY
SHOCK figures have revealed that nearly 35,000 people in Staffordshire are likely to be victims of domestic abuse every year.
Staffordshire County Council has unveiled a new partnership Domestic Abuse Strategy, running until 2029, to help protect residents from harm.
The strategy prioritises support for victims, prevention, accountability for perpetrators, and partnership working, and will be discussed by the county council's cabinet on January 21.
The strategy sets out a clear plan, working with partners across health, police, councils, charities and communities.
