Clarke to box in Derby for British title

FRAZER Clarke will fight for the vacant British Heavyweight title at Derby's new Vaillant Live arena next month.

Frazer Clarke will get his second shot at the British title.

The fight will also see live boxing return to the BBC, with a prime time slot on BBC2 as Burton star Clarke takes on London's Jeamie Tshikeva, who likes to be called Jeamie TKV.

The fight will be on Saturday, October 25.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic Bronze medalist Clarke came close to capturing the British crown in March last year, when he battled to a draw with Fabio Wardley in London with the Commonwealth and WBO European title also at stake.

Tshikeva's own previous British title challenge ended in a controversial stoppage against David Adeleye in April.

Both men are determined to leave nothing to chance this time round.

Clarke said: "I've always dreamed of winning the British title.
