TEMPORARY traffic lights have been installed on a busy Bristol road as a major £4.9 million improvement scheme moves to the next phase.

Motorists on Temple Way now face lane restrictions in both directions while crews prepare the route for new permanent signals and cycle lanes. The disruption is part of a yearlong project to upgrade the corridor, which will also see the installation of bus lanes on both sides.
