As we all continue to celebrate the Lionesses’ success on Sunday, and look forward to August, it’s time to reflect on another busy few weeks in the West.

Excitingly, our Kids Go Free offer launched in the first week of the summer holidays. All under-16s go free on bus journeys starting in Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, until September 5, with no registration or bus pass required. Just hop on board!

And lots of you have done just that already. Over 140,000 free journeys were taken by children and young people in the first week of the school holidays. That's a third more journeys than were taken in a comparable period last year - an extra 35,000 or so trips.
