Glos County Bromley Heath inflict first defeat on Quedgeley
Bristol Post
|October 14, 2025
QUEDGELEY Wanderers went to Pomphrey Hill in confident mood to take on Bromley Heath United.
-
Wanderers were unbeaten and Bromley hadn’t won since the opening day. However, sometimes form can go out of the window and Bromley started as they meant to go on by not giving QW the space to play possession football while creating some good chances themselves.
Bromley deservedly went in front on 12 minutes when a ball behind the Quedgeley defence was pounced on by Harley Lock, who lobbed the advancing Keiran Derbyshire. Mason Lewis and Ben O’Brien also went close for Bromley in this period.
Towards the end of the half a shot from Ollie Hanham was well saved by Derbyshire and a good move down the left ended with Lock just missing the target.
