Gaza death toll 'over 60,000'

MORE than 60,000 Palestinians have been killed in the 21-month war between Israel and Hamas, Gaza's Health Ministry said yesterday.

The ministry, which is part of Gaza's Hamas-run government, said the death toll has climbed to 60,034 people, with another 145,870 people wounded since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
