Fans vent their anger as Rovers slip closer to relegation trapdoor

BRISTOL Rovers fell closer to relegation to League Two after a seventh defeat in eight matches on Easter Monday, losing 1-0 at home to Stevenage.
Boos and chants of “you're not fit to wear the shirt” bellowed around the Memorial Stadium upon the full-time whistle as Rovers remained sat in the relegation zone with just two matches remaining.
A 12th-minute effort from Jamie Reid was enough to seal the points for the away side as Rovers desperately struggled for quality in the final third in a timid performance.
A bright start from Inigo Calderon’s side saw Ruel Sotiriou with the best scoring opportunity of the opening stages as the forward was picked out on the right and saw a firm strike deflected just wide of the target.
