£1m worth of cannabis plants found inside flat

CANNABIS plants worth a million pounds have been seized from a flat in Kingsdown.
The discovery of the plants was reported to Avon and Somerset Police on Tuesday. The property was secured and locks were changed ahead of National Grid attending the property the next day to turn off the power supply.
The flat, which is located above a closed restaurant, was supposed to be vacant and empty.
However when officers entered, an estimated 1,200 cannabis plants were found.
No-one is understood to have been arrested.
The plants were being grown in four rooms. Growing equipment was also found.
