Brentwood gang is jailed for running countywide drug ring

THREE men have been sentenced to a total of more than 19 years in prison after running a drug ring across Essex.
Three men who sought to bring cocaine into the UK have been jailed for a total of 19 years and 4 months.
On November 27, 2024, officers stopped a vehicle in Bedfordshire which contained 20 sealed packages, each containing a kilo block of cocaine and estimated to have a street value of up to £2 million.
At Chelmsford Crown Court, Paul Tibbs, Adrian Reeve and Darren Smith were jailed for their illegal activities on Friday, June 27.
The men formed an Organised Crime Group who sourced and shipped large amounts of drugs into the country for onward distribution and sale.
