Woman awarded damages for sexual abuse at hands of her home's care worker

A WOMAN who was sexually, physically and emotionally abused by her support worker as a teenager has been awarded damages.

The woman, who we have called Amy, brought a civil claim against Keys Care Limited after she was abused by Andrew Geeson at a children's home in south Lincolnshire.

Geeson, who admitted sexually abusing her, was sentenced in 2023 to more than five years in prison. The abuse began in 2019 when Amy was 15.
