Fire service warning over barbecues and open water

AS the weather hots up, the fire service is urging people not to use disposable barbecues. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue is pleading with the public to not use the barbecues this summer due to the risk they pose.

Dan Moss, an area manager at Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, said: “We recognise that summer months are coming and we want people to enjoy themselves, but not with disposable barbecues where there's the potential for fire to spread.
