Tottenham's 'approach' over £26m deal as Hammers are set a deadline

Spanish outlet Sport suggests Tottenham have “approached” Barcelona over the possibility of arranging a deal for midfielder Marc Casadó.

The 21-year-old has attracted “a lot of attention” and while he is said to want to stay at the Camp Nou, Barcelona would apparently “open the door with an off-market offer.”

Their valuation is said to be around €30m (£26m), though Sport suggest a deal won't happen particularly quickly with Barcelona likely to make a decision on who they can live without after the first couple of games.
