Season of outdoor theatre builds to finale with hall's top touring troupe

High summer at Lytham Hall will see one of the country's top outdoor theatre troupes with three markedly different productions in just ten days.

Tomorrow, Illyria's cast of five will present Shakespeare's witty comedy 'The Merry Wives of Windsor' before, on Sunday, just 48 hours later, a different cast of six sail into Lytham with Gilbert and Sullivan's ever-popular comic opera 'HMS Pinafore'.

Julia Munro, front of house manager for the hall's outdoor theatre, is looking forward to an entertaining but busy weekend.
