Nurse Bev's calls time after half century of dedication

A dedicated nurse has retired after 50 years of caring for patients across the Fylde coast and beyond.

Bev Watson, who grew up in Bispham and now lives in Cleveleys, started out in the profession as the Blackpool Hospital School of Nursing at the Victoria in 1975 and has hung up her uniform at 66 after latterly being clinical lead of child vaccination and immunisation at St Annes Health Centre.
