Ian Evatt tasted defeat in the league for the first time as Blackpool boss -- with his side suffering a 1-0 loss to Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.

On his first outing against the Seasiders since his Bloomfield Road exit back in the summer, Jack Beesley scored the only goal of the contest.

After winning back-to-back games in the third tier following his appointment last month, Evatt will look to rebuild momentum away to Leyton Orient next weekend after a missed opportunity for his side to pull themselves out of the bottom four.

The first real chance of the game fell Blackpool's way in the 14th minute.
