A popular local bar and restaurant, Thyme in Poulton’s Teanlowe Centre, has officially come under new ownership with husband-and-wife team Lee and Julie Lord now at the helm.

The pair, who also run The Miller Arms in Singleton, say they are excited to take on the challenge and build on the venue's existing reputation.

In a statement to customers, the new owners described the transition as “a whirlwind few days” as they settle into the business and begin introducing changes aimed at improving the overall experience.

They acknowledged there may be “ups and downs” over the coming weeks while adjustments are made, and thanked customers in advance for their patience and support.
