A town councillor who appeared to accuse a bar of being a 'drug den' says his Facebook account was hacked.

Coun Andrew Hall, from St Annes Town Council, has issued an apology to The Hop Shoppe in Wood Street after the comments were posted on Facebook.

The accusations appeared in an incoherent post on his Facebook account, but Coun Hall insists he was the victim of a hacker who allegedly accessed his account to spread malicious lies about the bar.
