BWFAC trio race to victories from Mid Lancs races

Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde AC had one of its best away turnouts in years for last weekend's British Athletics Cross Challenge fixture at Sefton Park.

The event also incorporated the Mid Lancs League, Red Rose League and Manchester League: making it a very competitive set of races. Eighteen BWFAC men were in action, along with a good number of juniors.

The men's turnout was nothing short of amazing, given others were in Lanzarote for their annual four-day challenge.

It was an opportunity for the BWFAC athletes to really test themselves against athletes from all over the country.

The older age group races also saw positions in the Great Britain team at stake.
