£2 festive parking boost for traders

Blackpool Council has instated its popular £2 festive parking offer in a bid to make Christmas shopping, dining and entertainment in the town more affordable.
From now until January drivers can park for up four hours for just £2 at most council-operated car parks.
The offer, which is limited to one four-hour session per day, can be redeemed through the MyByPhone app or by calling 0800 546 0609.
