He decides to call time on a career that began in the 1960s
MANY friends gathered to honour Harry Worrall, a West Midlands refereeing legend.
Harry has finally blown for full-time on a career with the whistle which had lasted for a remarkable 58 years. A farewell party to mark his refereeing retirement was held at Fordhouses cricket club.
Harry, from East Park, Wolverhampton, first put on his referee shirt aged 28 after being asked to officiate for his local team, Star Aluminium, in Bridgnorth in 1966.
