Veterans called to mark VJ Day anniversary

THE Royal British Legion is urging veterans who served in the Far East during the Second World War to register for a service to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.

Veterans and their families are invited to the event, at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire on August 15.
