COUNCIL LOOKS TO REMOVE EMBLEM AMID ONGOING CAMPAIGN
A PAINTED cross of St George has been removed from a Birmingham roundabout.
The mini-roundabout at the junction of Yarningale Road and Brandwood Road in Kings Heath has been returned to its original state after it was painted at the weekend.
It was one of several mini-roundabouts painted red and white, and came after dozens of Union and St George flags were flown from lampposts - though many were later taken down by Birmingham City Council.
