Runners set for cooler temperatures

THE AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run takes place on Sunday and, mercifully, the soaring temperatures heating up the city this week will be cooling in time.

Some 16,000 people have signed up to run in the city this year, taking part in either the half marathon or the 10k, raising money for a number of worthy causes.
