RESIDENTS NEAR HS2 WORKS SAY LIVES BLIGHTED BY NASTY NIFF
Residents living along Attleboro Lane in Water Orton are at their wits' end living next to HS2 site
VILLAGERS suffering the bizarre pong of fish as a result of the massive HS2 works nearby could breathe a sigh of relief soon.
When the Mail visited in December, Water Orton residents complained of dust and a fish-like odour surrounding the village.
Grandmother Gill Smith said the fishy smell was so strong that she could not even put washing out to dry.
Elsewhere, Helen Carlill said she had to clean her car weekly because of dust from construction works.
