New 'old' Land Rover evokes Churchill - but there will be few

LAND Rover has unveiled a tribute to former Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill's 1954 Series I vehicle with the Defender Churchill Edition.

A mere 10 cars will be crafted via Solihull-based Land Rover's 'Works Bespoke' commission service, with options of 90, 110 Station Wagon and 110 Soft Top body styles on offer - but they won't come cheap.
Dominic Elms, the managing director at Jaguar Land Rover Classic, commented: "The Classic Defender V8 Churchill Edition is a fantastic example of what's possible when a client's idea meets Land Rover Classic experts’ craftsmanship and attention to detail.
