Mowbray tells Baggies to keep on BELIEVING
Birmingham Mail
|April 08, 2025
ALBION head coach Tony Mowbray has urged his players to stick together and stay fighting ahead of a huge six-pointer against fellow Championship play-off chasers Bristol City tonight.
The Baggies' 1-0 defeat to Sunderland at The Hawthorns on Saturday saw them drop out of the top six down to eighth, but they can return there with a win over the sixth-placed Robins at Ashton Gate.
"I think there was a lot of positivity to take from Saturday and I know some fans won't want to hear that. They just want to win, as we just want to win," said Mowbray.
"We have to stick together, the players, the staff and the fans. We have to keep going and hopefully this place will be bouncing on Saturday because we'll have beaten Bristol City. We need to keep pushing on. We can still win our final games and we need to keep believing.
"Let's stick together. We're a decent team, we just need to show that by scoring goals and getting results. Obviously, we're not doing that very well at the moment.
