'Give Charles a big cheer' as he visits cathedral

PEOPLE been told they can “greet” King Charles when he makes a special visit to Lichfield Cathedral this month.
Rev Jan McFarlane, Dean of Lichfield, says she will be thrilled and honoured to welcome the monarch to the church on Monday.
King Charles will also be visiting an, as yet, unspecified local venue before heading to the cathedral, where entry will be restricted to invited guests only, including volunteers and choirs from the local area.
But provision is being made for those who wish to greet the monarch on his arrival.
A viewing area for the general public will be set up around The Close, with entry from 9am.
