POLICE made more than 20 arrests after another night of firework mayhem and anarchy as yobs marauded through city centre streets.
Fireworks were let off dangerously and deliberately aimed at police and members of the public on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday.
There were also youths carrying weapons, officers attacked and groups marauding around, the West Midlands force said.
The incidents took place in the Dale End area and a little further out in Staniforth Street, between Aston Expressway and fireworks hotspot, Bagot Street, where there are a number of student flats.
