Emi gets his hands on award for save of season

THE future of Emi Martinez as Villa number one may be up in the air, but the World Cup winner has added another award to his ever-growing collection.
It is looking increasingly likely the 32-year-old will leave Villa this summer as the club strive to balance their books under pressure from the Premier League's tough financial rules.
A number of options have been outlined, including a move to the mega-rich Saudi Pro League, reported interest from Manchester United, plus a potential switch to Atletico Madrid.
But before all that, Martinez is celebrating again after producing the Premier League’s save of the season. A public vote was combined with the views of an expert panel, who opted for Martinez’s effort at Nottingham Forest on December 14.
