Doubts over Louie Blades loan future

CHRIS Wilder refused to confirm whether Louie Barry's Sheffield United loan will end early, amid speculation that the Villa forward will seek a new club for the second half of the season.

The 22-year-old had been set to join Hull City on a permanent basis in the summer for a £3.5 million fee, before the Tigers were sanctioned by the EFL for breaching transfer rules.

Instead, Barry joined the Blades on a season-long loan, but that move could now be cut short, as he has only started six Championship matches - five of those coming under former boss Ruben Selles.
