Doc suspended for a year after hospital thefts

MEDIC STOLE FROM HER PATIENT
A DOCTOR has been suspended for 12 months after she stole £30 from a patient and cloned his bank card to order items online.
Dr Sandra Chika Ndirika, a urology doctor at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, also used a nurse's bank card to order food for herself.
She pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and seven counts of fraud by false representation at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court in December 2023.
She was later sentenced at Dudley Magistrates' Court to 32 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 18 months, and told to pay compensation of £455.
A medical tribunal has now decided to suspend her for 12 months.
