David Ful of hope after showing battling spirit
Birmingham Mail
|November 01, 2025
GOALSCORER David Moller Wolfe believes Wolves can take the positives from their cup comeback into today’s big game with Fulham.
A win would take them to within three points of their hosts, who currently occupy the spot above the drop zone.
And Wolfe insisted the second-half fightback in their 4-3 Carabao Cup last-16 tie on Wednesday will give them some impetus to take into the clash at Craven Cottage.
“Even though the result wasn’t what we wanted, we can be very proud of the second half,’ he said.
“Chelsea are one of the best teams in the world, they showed it this summer, so I think we can be proud. But we need to be able to do it for 90 minutes. It’s a bit too often where we start the first-half not too good, so that’s something we have to do better.
