Cop sacked after paying for prostitutes

A SHAMED Midland police officer quit before they could be sacked for paying prostitutes for sex.

He would have been dismissed by Staffordshire Police, the force said today.

But it did not publicly name the ex-Pc, saying he had been “granted anonymity”. This was due to the “implications on those not connected” to the incident.

It was not known whether the individual faced any criminal action and the force did not expand on who made the decision not to name him.

The force said the officer engaged in sexual activity with sex workers for payment while they were off-duty.
