- By DAN NEWBOULD

United loanee Toby Collyer has returned to his parent club for treatment, Albion boss Ryan Mason has confirmed.Collyer came off early during the midweek Birmingham City derby with a calf problem late last month and the midfielder has not featured for the Baggies since.

Asked if there’s any update, he told the Mail in his preQPR press conference yesterday morning: “No. It's quite a big injury.

“He's at United at the minute getting treatment.

“They're just assessing him and then I think, in the coming weeks, we'll just decide his plan regarding his rehab. We've got him on loan for the season. That's the plan.

“Normally any loan player that gets an injury that’s a bit more than a small one, more of a significant one, I think it’s right for the parent club to look at them and for them to check them over.
