FORMER Blues manager Gary Rowett says next season’s Championship will be tougher than this year’s.
That could well be true for his Oxford side in their quest to seal another campaign of second-tier football, but the Championship should not frighten Blues.
All 24 teams have now been confirmed and the two strongest, in terms of squad depth and finances, have returned to the Premier League.
Most people would have wanted Sunderland to remain in the Championship rather than Sheffield United due to the embarrassment of riches at the Blades’ disposal, but the real big hitters are now the Premier League's problem.
