Bjorn winner Heggem targets play-off glory
Birmingham Mail
|April 17, 2025
PLAYER-of-the-season Torbjorn Heggem says Albion fully believe they can make the Championship play-offs this season.
West Brom face a huge task with a Good Friday trip to Coventry, who occupy the last play-off spot, but Heggem remains confident in his team’s ability.
The Norwegian, who was named supporters’ player of the season and players’ player of the season on Monday night having been a revelation since joining last summer, said: “We are strong in the belief we are good enough to get into the play-offs. We have it in our own hands.
“Of course, the game on Friday is going to be really tough. Let’s just bring the momentum we have from the last game and be strong in the belief we can do something really great the rest of the season.
“Especially after the start of the season, and when the start was so good, you believe in something really big and you can manage something great.”
