£20k reward in search for third suspect in shooting

CRIMESTOPPERS LAUNCHES APPEAL
CRIMESTOPPERS has issued a £20,000 reward in a bid to identify a third person involved in a Birmingham biker shooting which was a case of 'mistaken identity.
Gloucestershire Police said three men had travelled around 60 miles from the city where they shot a man outside his home in Gloucester.
The victim, who police believe is entirely innocent of any criminal involvement, managed to bravely fight off his attackers. But he has been left traumatised by the ordeal on January 18.
Police said the man, who has links to the West Midlands, suffered extensive leg injuries, which might mean his leg has to be amputated.
Stepbrothers Simeon Bernard, 39, and 42-year-old Darren Atkins, from Erdington, were jailed for a combined total of more than 28 years in August.
