Taylor Fritz has yet to experience a Laver Cup on home soil - a moment that will finally come this September, when he joins Team World before a roaring crowd when the Laver Cup lands in San Francisco for the first time.
The stakes? A chance to share in something rare for tennis: team pride, collective energy and the joy of competing together.
On the opposite bench sits Carlos Alcaraz, the 22-year-old Spaniard who secured the decisive points for Team Europe in 2024. This year, he returns alongside his childhood friend Holger Rune, the Dane making his first Laver Cup appearance.
The Laver Cup is no ordinary tournament. It is tennis reimagined as a team pursuit, blending generations, fostering camaraderie and creating moments of unity in a sport defined by individuality.
