Thailand, Ireland expand trade ties

Thailand and Ireland are set to expand cooperation in trade, investment, technology and education, officials said, as both countries marked 51 years of diplomatic relations.
Minister of State at the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport of Ireland, Charlie McConalogue, hosts ambassadors, partners, and friends in the celebration of Ireland's National Day — Saint Patrick's Day — at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

The outlook was highlighted during St Patrick’s Day celebrations hosted by the Irish embassy in Bangkok on Tuesday, underscoring the steady growth of bilateral ties since relations were established and Ireland opened its embassy in Bangkok in 2014.
