Texas records 2nd measles-related death

AUSTIN: A second child with measles has died in Texas where hundreds of cases of the disease have been recorded in recent weeks, prompting US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to plan a trip to the state, local media reported earlier yesterday.

The exact cause of the death is under investigation, media reported.
Axios, which first reported the news, said Mr Kennedy's trip was arranged after he was informed of the death. NBC News said Mr Kennedy planned to attend the funeral scheduled for yesterday.
