Shopee 9.9 Double Date campaign breaks records

Shopee, Thailand's leading e-commerce platform, celebrated the 10th anniversary of its signature 9.9 Double Date campaign with record-breaking results.

Kongkrit Lawlertratana, head of marketing commercial at Shopee Thailand, said that under this year's 9.9 campaign, over 1 million orders were placed less than 30 minutes after the campaign's launch on Sept 9.

He added that the campaign highlighted the seamless connections between buyers, sellers and creators through Shopee Live, Shopee Video and the Shopee Affiliate Program.

Shopee Live remains an essential tool for sellers to engage viewers and drive real-time sales.

During the 9.9 campaign, one local seller increased sales by more than 29 times, while 100,000 product items were sold in just one minute on Sept 9 by sellers on Shopee Live, setting a new record through livestreaming with special promotions and live demos.
