After making waves across international stages with her distinct fusion of Thai roots and contemporary funk, drummer, producer and songwriter Salin Cheewapansri is set to play her first full-length headline concert in Bangkok: "#HYHBKK Live! With Salin" at Lido Connect 2.

Salin's story is one of artistic curiosity and cultural connection. Born and raised in Bangkok in the mid-1990s, she first dabbled in piano before switching to drums — a decision sparked by hearing about her school's famously fun drum teacher. Drawn to grunge and heavy metal, she developed a dynamic energy behind the kit that quickly caught people's attention.
By her teens, Salin was already performing professionally, working as a session drummer with major Sony artists including veteran Thai alt-rock singer Ornaree. Her YouTube performances and street busking videos further revealed raw passion and technical prowess, establishing her as one of Thailand's most exciting young musicians.
