One worker killed by falling slab of concrete

A worker from Myanmar died after he was crushed by a concrete slab at a construction site along Rama II Road on Saturday morning.

The accident took place at the site of the Rama III-Dao Khanong-Western Outer Ring Road expressway project in the Bang Mod area of Chom Thong district, near Sombunwit School. The site, which was overseen by the Expressway Authority of Thailand, has been closed to traffic as a result of the incident.
