Hitoshi Mizumoto, director of the Asia headquarters of Lopia Co Ltd, said the company aims to introduce authentic Japanese food culture to local consumers with the concept of “value for money’ while building a strong foundation for further expansion in Asia.
“Thailand has mixed nationalities, from which we can learn consumer behaviour before expanding our stores in Southeast Asia,” he said.
The 1,000-square-metre Nonthaburi outlet represents the company’s next step in taking its distinctive food retail model beyond East Asia and into fast-growing consumer markets across the region.
