The quarterfinals of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship begin today with the Netherlands taking on Japan and Italy facing Poland.

Mighty Brazil will meet surprise package France while the United States and Turkey will square off tomorrow in the other two last-eight clashes.

Japan — the only Asian team in the last eight of the competition — will face the Netherlands in a game between the No.4 and the No.8 teams in the world ranking.
