Four arrested for making ecstasy pills

Four Vietnamese citizens were arrested, and a large quantity of narcotics, along with drug-making equipment, were seized during a raid on two locations in Bangkok on Monday, the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) announced yesterday.

According to Pol Lt Gen Phanurat Lukboon, ONCB secretary-general, the operation was a joint effort of the ONCB, Customs Department, Royal Thai Army and Thailand Post.

He said the team raided a condominium in the Ramkhamhaeng area and a rented house in Lat Phrao, where they seized 5.2 kilogrammes of ketamine, 514 ecstasy tablets, MDMA powder, an automatic single-punch pill press with logo stamps, and other related equipment.
