An autopsy report has confirmed Thitison “Joe Ferrari” Uthanaphon, a former police colonel, committed suicide while in custody at Klong Prem Central Prison.

The Justice Ministry’s Rights and Liberties Protection Department yesterday released a statement concerning the death of Thiti-san, who was found hanged in his cell at the maximum security facility on March 23.

He was convicted for the torture and killing of a drug suspect in 2021.
