EC certifies poll results in 396 constituencies

The Election Commission (EC) yesterday certified the election results in 396 out of 400 constituencies — 17 days from election day and faster than the time required to endorse the results of the 2019 and 2023 general elections.
The endorsement was approved at a meeting of the commissioners chaired by Narong Klanwarin. Certified winners can start picking up their documents at the EC’s office from today. The documents are essential as the new MPs-elect need them to proceed with parliamentary registration.
