Printing solutions provider Brother Commercial (Thailand) has launched atrade-in campaign, encouraging customers to exchange their old printers for the company’s latest devices while addressing the growing issue of e-waste.

“Thailand’s printer market continues to expand, but rising competition and shifting consumer expectations are driving demand for value-driven and environmentally responsible innovation,” said Kittipong Kanolvilairat, general manager for sales and marketing at Brother Commercial (Thailand), the local unit of the leading Japanese printing solutions provider.

According to Brother, Thailand generates more than 440,000 tonnes of e-waste annually, yet less than 1% is properly recycled.

With over 21 million households and more than 800,000 new printers purchased each year, the company sees an opportunity to turn obsolete devices into tangible business and environmental value.

To address this opportunity, the company’s “Don’t let it rot — bring it in, we'll take care ofit!” initiative invites customers to trade in old A4-size-paper printers of any brand or model in exchange for discounts of up to 2,000 baht when they purchase one of eight models of Brother printers.
