2 Chinese scam suspects held

Two Chinese nationals were arrested in Pattaya for their alleged involvement in a transnational call centre scam network linked to the death of a South Korean student.
Pol Maj Gen Chanannat Santhawanpat, commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), said yesterday that a combined team of officers from the TCSD, South Korean embassy officials and Immigration Bureau investigators apprehended the two men at a residence in the town in Chon Buri province on Thursday.
